Volunteer Day Brings New Life to District

Groups from all over Rhode Island and the District itself came to support and bring awareness to the districts green Infrastructure. Volunteers gathered under the beating sun to plant over two dozen trees in the Jewelry District. This project was run by the Jewelry District Association along with Providence Neighborhood Planting Program Director Cassie Tharinger and Dr. Mark Hengen.
